Jerusalem Bishops Warn: ‘Christians Are Under Attack’ — Holy Sepulcher Closed for Holy Week

The Holy City of Jerusalem, under fire, and for the first time ever, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher is closed for Holy Week.

Bibi Netanyahu is accused of blaspheming Jesus Christ, and Jerusalem’s Bishop William Shomali warns of increased attacks on Christians in the Holy Land.

As Christianity becomes the most persecuted religion in the world, Bishop Alexander Sample issues a Passiontide warning against antisemitism and violence against Jews.

Meanwhile, the Latin Patriarch Cardinal Pizzaballa calls on what is left of the persecuted Christians in the Holy Land not to flee but to stay and witness to their Christian Faith under attack.
