Holy Week & the Reign of Christ the King

Description:
Christians have almost entirely forgotten: the Social Kingship of Jesus Christ is not a slogan—it is a dogma that once shaped civilization itself.
What did the world look like when Christ was truly recognized as King—not just in hearts, but in laws, governments, and daily life?
During Holy Week, Christian nations once:
- Suspended legal proceedings
- Released prisoners in acts of mercy
- Ceased labor to focus entirely on prayer
- Practiced intense fasting and penance
- Lived, however briefly, under what was called the “Reign of Christ”
From the early Church Fathers like St. John Chrysostom to the laws of Christian emperors, this episode explores a lost world where society itself bent the knee to Christ the King.
What happened to that world?
And what must happen for it to return?
As we enter the Sacred Triduum, this episode is both a meditation and a warning:
If Christ is not King of nations, He will not remain King in hearts.
Watch and rediscover what Holy Week was meant to be—and what it could be again.
