The Modernist institutional Church today has no wine, and has spent the past six decades pouring out and even poisoning the wine of the New Covenant that existed before. In this Sunday Sermon from South Saint Paul, Father speaks of the epiphanies -- or 'manifestations' -- of Our Lord as recorded in Sacred Scripture.
Of the series of manifestations recorded by the Evangelists, Father focuses on the epiphany that took place at Cana, when the Mother of Jesus instructs the stewards to "do whatever he tells you," thus asking her Son to manifest Himself on our behalf even before the time of His public life had come. Father notes that, even as Mary asks Jesus to provide wine for the wedding party, so too can she pray for the Church today which, as Father notes, in its human element "has no wine" and is in desperate need of divine intervention.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us now.
