PAPROCKI v. SSPX: The Price of 'Full Communion' in the Synodal Church
His Excellency, Bishop Thomas Paprocki, says the SSPX is just another Protestant sect. Is that true? If so, what is the price of full communion in the Church?
Now, Bishop Paprocki is not a bad bishop. In fact, his refusal to go along with the homo-synodal agenda means he is ideologically closer to the SSPX bishops than he is to Cardinal Cupich and the Gang (which is why Michael Matt invites Bishop Paprocki to the CIC).

The SSPX consecrated four new bishops on July 1, 2026. The next day, the Vatican declared the bishops excommunicated, reviving one of the most painful controversies in modern Catholic history.
